Our Dogs ....

Mia

Mia is one of our young girls, bred by us, her mum is Piper, she is a shaded red. best friend to Raiyne and are the same age so are growing up together and have the best time playing all day long. Mia has such a lust for life and never sits still, she is such a happy little soul and real sweet! 

 we have just started to show Mia and her best achievements to date are winning several puppy classes, gaining a Best Puppy in Breed, Best in Breed and a Reserve Best in Breed at Open shows.

Raiyne 

Raiyne is a beautiful Cream Brindle bred by a lovely friend of mine at Hoopydax dachshunds.  when i saw this litter born and her striking markings i just had to have her. Brindles are a colour pattern ive always wanted and she ticks all the boxes, not only is she beautiful and well patterned, shes sweet and loving with it!

we have also started to show her too along side Mia and her achievements to date including winning her puppy class and going on to get Best Puppy in Breed and 2 x Reserve Best of Breed  at Open shows.

Ivy

Ivy is our 2 year old shaded cream girl bred by friends of ours at Fennedax dachshunds. she is our ASBO dog of the pack, naughty, loud and always up to no good! she is so happy all of the time and life is just one big enjoyment and she shows this by being very hyper and excitable! 

 

she is super sweet and so good with the puppies, she will play with them for hours and show them how to dig holes in the garden or how to chew my plants! 😄 but we love her all the same!

River 

River is our almost 3 year old Sliver dapple and cream girl, bred by us, her mum is Amber. she is best friends with ivy and is a real cuddle monster.

 

she is exceptionally well marked for a dapple and is so pretty, we get comments everywhere we go with her. shes very sweet and cuddly and lives for her daily walkies where you can see the enjoyment on her face, she always looks like she is smiling! 

Maddie

Maddie is our  4 year old shaded cream girl. she is Ivy's Aunty. 

Maddie loves to snooze on the sofa after her walkies and if she can get away with it likes to nap on our dining table! 

 

To date Maddie has had 1 litter and was the best mummy, she had 4 beautiful babies that she lovingly raised and when they were old enough took great enjoyment with playing with them and having them chase her around the house and garden it was so sweet to watch! 

Amber 

Amber is our 4 year old black and tan girl bred by our friends at Fennedax. She was a long awaited and carefully planned keeper girl so that i could have a daughter from our Teddy as ive never been able to have a litter of my own by him as he is related to all my girls 

 

Amber has to date had 2 litters, her first she produced 4 babies (River being one of them)   and then  a singleton baby girl. shes a brilliant mother and is very doting on her babies 

Luna

Luna is our gorgeous Black and Tan girl who is bred by us, her Mum  is Piper. 

Luna is nearly 6 years old but behaves like a puppy still, regularly playing with the youngsters and runnign around with toys but  equally loves to give you snuggles and big sloppy kisses!

 

Luna blessed us with 2 beautiful litters of 4 puppies in each. shes now retired and spayed and living her best life 

Piper

Pipe is our stunning 7 year old sliver dapple and tan girl, bred by us, her mum is Maisie.

piper considers herself to be the princess of the group, she is very demanding of fusses and cuddles and insists on sitting on your lap in the evening for her belly tickles which we dont mind in the least! 

Pipers worst trait despite being the princess is she loves to roll in anything stinky! Fox poo is her favorite if she can find it out on walkies! 🤢

 

Piper is now retired after giving us 4 wonderful litters of 3 pups each time, she is the best mum and absolutely doted on her babies! 2 of which we have kept , Luna from her first litter and Mia from her Last litter 

Teddy

Almost 10 year old Teddy is our beautiful black and tan boy, bred by us, his mum is Maisie, Teddy was a successful show and stud dog until we retired him last year and regularly qualified for Crufts up until we stopped showing a few years ago. he was a real showman and loved strutting himself around the ring! 

 

Our only boy in a pack of girls he loves being the Alpha Male and is such a good boy, he has produced some stunning babies over the years and all of the black and tan males he has sired are all the absolute spitting image of him! 

His favorite time of the day is walkies where he runs his little heart out and loves to chase birds! 

Dolly

Dolly is our amazing  11 year old clear red girl, bred by us, her mum is Maisie. Dolly is Queen Bee of the pack, Alpha female, the Boss (and my favorite🤭i know you shouldn't have favorites but shes my ❤️ dog) 

 

Dolly had a very successful show career also and attended Crufts every year, she was another little show off who loved to strut her stuff around the ring with a real look at me attitude! 

 

Dolly's favorite thing is bed time as she sleeps in our bed with us 🤭 

Dolly had 1 litter when she was 3 years old and unfortunately had a difficult birth where we lost one of the 2 babies so we decided that she would retire but she gave us Sophie. 

Lady

Lady is our sweet shaded red girl, bred by us, 11 years old and litter sister to Dolly, Her mum is Maisie. 

Lady is a quiet girl, likes to keep herself to herself, has her spot on the sofa that's hers and no one else sits there. 

Sisters Lady and Dolly are still so close after all these years and often sleep together snuggled on the sofa

 

Lady gave us 3 wonderful litters over the years, 2 litters of 3 and a litter of 4 babies. she was also a doting mum to her babies, this breed are  very maternal in general!

Sophie 'Squidge'

Sophie or Squidge as she is known to all that know her is our sweet almost 9 year old black and tan girl, bred by us, her mum is Dolly.

Squidge was the smallest puppy born that we have ever had weighing a tiny 93g! but with a little help  from me along side Dolly she survived and grew into the lovely little girl she is today 

 

Squidge  was always going to be on the smaller size and we felt she wasn't big enough to let her have a litter so was spayed at 3 years old. shes a real sweetheart and never any trouble!

Maisie 

Maisie is our oldest girl now at 13 years old and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. 

Mum to Dolly, Lady, Teddy and Piper, grand mother and great grandmother to many puppies! 

 

she takes her grandmother duties very seriously and loves to play with our puppy litters, even now at her age, she mothers them as well which is so sweet. 

 

Maisie blessed us with 4 litters over the years, 2 singleton litters which were Piper and Teddy, a litter of 2 which were Dolly and Lady and then a litter of 3. i think you can see a pattern here that we kept most of Maisie's babies!

how could we not with her blood lines, super sweet, laid back temperament  and beautiful looks! 

Shelby

Shelby is our silver dapple and tan 7 year old miniature smooth haired dachshund bred by our friend at Emeraldax.

Shelby is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone she meets. she is a bugger for barking at the next door neighbor in her garden though! 😄

 

Shelby had 2 gorgeous litters, 2 pups in her first who went to live together and then a litter of 6! which was a big litter for a little lady! she doted on her babies and loves to play with litters we have now

she is best friends with Rosa and Ruby and definitely more into Alec than me and is part of his little  pack who we affectionately call 'Brat - co' because they are spoilt and naughty when he is around😄

Rosa

Rosa is our 7 year old red miniature smooth haired dachshund bred by a breeder friend of ours at Lyndarlea 

 

Alec's favorite dog of the pack, his little princess 🤭 she is demanding of his food and attention 😄 but shes a lovely sweet little girl too who will play with the pups and young dogs if he is not around ( i often send Alec videos of her playing with the dogs so he believes me that she does act like a normal dog!) 

 

Rosa has had 2 litters of puppies, a litter of 2 and a littler of 3. we often joke that she dragged her first litter up because she had to as they were hers but her mothering instinct definitely kicked in more on her second time and she really loved them dearly! 

Ruby

Ruby is our 7 year old jack Russell who was bred by our friend at Lyndarlea and who came home with us when we were visiting to use a stud dog! Alec fell in love with her as he sat with her in the kitchen while me and Lynn were supervising the dog breeding and when we came back in he had her cuddled up on his lap and when Lynn said she had not yet got her new home well that was it, and home she came with us! 😄😄

 

Ruby is the sweetest girl with the dachshunds, we think she thinks she is a dachshund too! 

she loves puppies and will encourage the puppies to suckle her and she really mothers them so it was only right that we let her experience motherhood and  her own litter just once and boy did she make the most of it and had 8 babies!

Not ever forgetting our Original Gang all gone but never forgotten!

Joey our black and cream boy, Dad to Saffi, and our first Stud dog, great little show dog and gentle soul .lived to 16.5 years old

Tia, sister to Sally and our first  ever dachshund (alongside sally )  she had 1 litter but sadly resulted in a c section  where we lost the babies so she was retired. she was the Boss dog, Alpha female of the pack up until she grew old and Dolly took over. she lived until 16 years old 

Sally, mother to Saffi and sister to Tia, our other original first dachshund, sweet, sweet sally had 3 litters before retiring and lived til almost 17 years old 

Saffi, daughter of Sally and Joey, she was another super sweet dog, who loved the puppies but never got to experience motherhood herself sadly as she developed epilepsy at 3 years old but lived a long and happy life on medication until we lost her at 16 years old. she was our fiery little redhead! 

 

Katy,  my jack russell, bred by  mum and dad and given to me for my 13th Birthday! katy did about 100 tricks! she was a fun little dog and lived with me until she was 18 years old! 

Odie, Alec's Staffi, who came to live with us when we moved in together and tolerated the dachshunds really well! he was a sweet boy  who was super gentle with the puppies and doted on his Daddy!
